HOW TO PREPARE FOR TREATMENT:
Several days prior to your appointment, to minimize the risk of bruising avoid blood-thinning products such as NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil), aspirin (if your physician says it’s ok) certain herbal supplements, excessive caffeine, and alcohol. Start Arnica Montana, a homeopathic supplement, a few days before your appointment, which can help minimize bruising and swelling as well. Please come to your appointment with a clean face free of makeup if possible.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT:
Although minimal, bruising and swelling is normal and expected. The face is very vascular and any time we introduce a needle into the skin it may result in a small bruise. We do everything we can in office to minimize bruising, but there’s always a chance bruising can occur. Results will take at least 2 weeks. Avoid makeup, heavy workouts, and air travel for 2 days. Avoid any sort of facial for two weeks.
